Belt or chain
The timing belt has a prescribed time and mileage interval. The chain may not last a lifetime, and wear may be indicated by a noise after starting.
Which is usually changed
Depending on the engine, we change the complete set, tensioning and guiding elements and often also the water pump. We always verify the range by VIN and motorization.
Risk of delay
Breaking or skipping lines can damage the valves and the engine. Preventive replacement is significantly cheaper than such a repair.
