An interval is not just a number
The manufacturer states the interval in kilometers and time, but the actual load is affected by short routes, cold starts and city traffic. In these conditions, the oil heats up more slowly and ages faster.
Why not pull the oil
The oil lubricates, cools and removes impurities. It gradually loses its properties and the filter becomes clogged. Too long an interval can accelerate the wear of the turbo, timings and engine.
Practical recommendations
